Poppy seeds cake

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams of oats
  • 80 grams of walnuts
  • 80 grams of poppy seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 80 grams of soaked dates
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 150 grams of applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  • Dried raisins or cranberries (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 356 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Place oats and walnuts in a blender and blend until they reach a flour-like consistency.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  4. Add poppy seeds and cinnamon to the bowl with the oat and walnut mixture.
  5. In the blender, blend soaked dates, ripe bananas, applesauce, eggs, and coconut oil until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  6. Add the blended mixture to the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  7. If desired, add dried raisins or cranberries to the mixture and stir.
  8. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and pour the prepared batter into it.
  9. Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake at 356 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 35 minutes.
  10. To check if the cake is done, insert a toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, the cake is ready.
  11. Allow the cake to cool before serving.
